About Us

Welcome!

St Josephs Preschool Nursery is a private day nursery situated in the heart of Heywood, Greater Manchester. We offer childcare to children ages 9 months to 5 years. We have 3 spacious rooms, 1 preschool room, 1 toddler room and 1 baby room. We also have a fabulous outdoor space catering to all ages for our children to explore all year round.

Our Story

Learning matters…

We offer first class early years education by creating outstanding activities – learning new skills! We have a dedicated team who is educated in early childhood development to ensure your child is getting a great start in life. Each child also has a devoted key worker to tailor learning to their individual needs making education exciting, achievable and most importantly enjoyable.

Exploring matters…

From our indoor spacious rooms to our huge outdoor play area, we love creating new adventures for your little ones to discover and explore the all year round. We’ve found that playing outside is a fantastic way to improve your child’s confidence and physical development.

School matters…

For us, the most exciting thing about the nursery is helping your child get ready for that exciting moment when they can start school. We make sure that they’re developing every step of the way so that they are school-ready at the right time. To do this we work closely with local schools to make the transition as easy as possible.

Our mission is to provide:

  • outstanding, interactive and consistent childcare
  • qualified and experienced staff
  • a nurturing and stimulating environment
