Michelle
Nursery Owner
Hi my name is Michelle Parkhill and I am the owner of St Joseph’s Pre-school Nursery, I took over the nursery Eighteen years ago and worked here two years prior to that. I understand the importance of providing outstanding practice and creating a rich, stimulating environment for all children in our care.
Olivia
Nursery Manager
Olivia is our Nursery manager who has her level 3 childcare qualification with over 10 years experience working with children within our setting. Olivia has a clear vision for the nursery ensuring our team provides an enabling and educational environment for our children , meeting every child’s individual needs by creating early strong bonds with children through attachment.
Olivia is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCO within our setting. Olivia has lots of experience within these roles and strives to ensure we provide a safe, secure environment for our little ones.
We aim to ensure all of our staff here at St Joseph’s are trained in safeguarding and first aid. We understand the upmost importance of keeping children in our care safe and feel regular staff training is an effective and sufficent way to allow us to do so. All of our staff have excellent knowledge and experience of the early years foundation stage and provide the highest quality care to the children at our setting.
